MTI has the best local area professional blues bands that perform regularly for corporate special events and private parties. Blues can span from Ragtime, New Orleans and Dixieland to Swing, Bop and modern Cool blues. While blues may be difficult to define, improvisation is clearly one of its key elements as the skilled performer will interpret a tune in very individual ways, never playing the same composition exactly the same way twice. The truly creative process unfolds in front of you and your audience as the performer's inspiration and personal experience, interactions with fellow musicians, or even members of the audience.

MTI blues artists are the ones that have recorded and toured with major artists and play the hits and familiar songs made famous by great artists such as: Louis Armstrong, Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, David Sanborn, Chick Corea, Diana Krall.

MTI has many types of blues bands that can perform at your corporate special event or wedding reception. There are soloists and small blues combos which play light dinner blues, perfected underscore for conversation and easy listening. There are bigger size blues ensembles playing the classic blues music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Glenn Miller who will get everyone dancing after dinner.

Solo instrumental artists include: Piano, Organ, Guitar, Duos: Guitar and Flute, Piano and Bass, Organ and Saxophone, Trios: Piano, Bass and Sax, or Guitar, Bass and Drums or Bass, Guitar and Flute, and other combinations
